Scott Adamson, Managing Member

Scott Adamson founded Copper Ridge after 15 years in various land roles with privately held oil & gas operators.  Scott grew up near the Rocky Mountains in Colorado where he developed a passion for the outdoors.  After college, he spent nearly a decade in Texas and Oklahoma building relationships with surface and mineral owners.  These owners educated him in the basics of farming, ranching and agricultural land use.  In turn, he proactively worked to minimize surface impact of oil and gas operations.  This respect between operator and landowner is critical to mutually beneficial extraction of hydrocarbons and is the basis for how Copper Ridge conducts business today.

Small Shop, Strong Partners

Copper Ridge takes a long term approach to mineral and royalty investing.  At times, the company will partner with well-known, reputable mineral investors when acquisitions exceed the bounds of our funding.  These relationships bring new opportunities for expansion, larger acquisitions and valuable knowledge sharing.  We're a small shop and you'll always talk to a familiar voice.  Give us a call or send us an email - we're excited to meet you!
